As many Juniors are aware, our VOLUNTEERS are indispensable in the
success of our Tuesday clinics and fairway play. We also
recognize that generally it will be retired members who would be
available on Tuesdays. That somewhat suggests members of our
Senior Ladies and Senior Men’s Leagues. So, let’s come right
out and ask …………..”If any members of our Senior Leagues or indeed
any other persons might be available for the 2008 season, would you
signal this to our Junior Chairman. Assistance during the
Clinics is beneficial and during the fairway play it is critical.
Mentoring the younger players during fairway play enables them to
build on the Clinic lessons and also ensures a consistency and
fairness of scoring the rounds. So shoot an email to our
Chairman; his coordinates are near the bottom of our web site home
page.

If you view the “Committee” section of this web site, you will see
our Youth Committee. Any Juniors who wish to participate on
this committee, please contact our Chairman. The role is
briefly summarized and the Committee will represent our Junior
membership.
Please note that the courses are not available to the Juniors on
Tuesday, 01 July 2008.
We can have the Main Course on Wednesday, 02 July in-lieu.
Therefore JULY 02 Wednesday is one subject which would be worthy of
discussion among the Youth Committee. Instead of commencing with a
Tuesday Clinic on 02 July , it may be more appropriate to kick-off
the 2008 Season with a “Junior Event” on 02 July. Now is the time to
make your contribution to what may or may not work on 02July.
Possibly a mixed event with teams made up of Juniors and adult
members, with parents (grandparents / great grandparents) also
encouraged to participate. Please discuss this among the Committee
and ask other Junior members for their opinions.
